I think that everything typed was actually very reasonable. However, what about this? what if you wrote a catchier post title? I ain't suggesting your information is not solid., but what if you added a title that grabbed a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You ought to glance at Yahoo's front page and watch how they create news titles to get people to open the links. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to grab readers excited about everything've written. In my opinion, it might make your posts a little bit more interesting.
